I love Zelda.
I love Dynasty Warriors.
Yeah, I'll pick it up.

Dude .

I do not like Dynasty Warriors, actually.  Sure I want it, but I'd rather pay FULL PRICE for Sengoku Basara 4 when it comes out.

All you kids are telling Nintendo they can throw their characters in any darn game and you'll still buy it.

This is the kind of game where you can watch a 2 minute video on youtube and you've seen the entire game. but oooh link!

You don't understand the appeal of Warriors games, man. Watching the gameplay isn't the same as playing it. When you watch it, it actually looks even more boring than if you're playing it. At least to me. But then again, I steer clear of let's plays because I'm not a retard and I play my own games.

They're just exaggerated beat em ups, where everything is blown out of proportion(attacks, enemies, etc.). If that's not for you then fine, but for people like me that like Warriors games and Zelda its a pretty great crossover.

It's not about the games, man, it's about the commentary. You watch to laugh, not because you want to play vicariously. Yeah it's mostly crap, but there are some good teams out there; Rooster Teeth, Game Grumps, and Super Best Friends (my favorite) are great examples.

Viewtifulboy

Actually it's more fun to watch someone with skill play it.  Someone with a leveled-up character using the flashiest moves to show off being a one-person killing machine, and it's even more fun to be that person yourself.

Spud

Really liking the fan service so far.

Eh, I'm not really all that into it. I've tried.

It's almost TOO much at times... almost.

Caved, got it, it's tons of fun and has Zelda fan service dripping out every orifice. Really fun in multiplayer too, even though the graphics and framerate take a dive with two players.

I already bought the season pass.

So is it worth it?

If you're a Zelda buff and can find joy in a hack-n-slash, then yeah.

imo it's definitely worth it; my friends and I played for about 6 hours straight yesterday.
