It had it's start in Korea, so if you ever play it, be prepared to spend fifty bazillion hours trying to level up.

Massivly Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game.

Zeldafan has the right idea. It takes so long to level up, and if you die once, it'll take hours to make up that EXP.

Massivly Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game.

Zeldafan has the right idea. It takes so long to level up, and if you die once, it'll take hours to make up that EXP.

oh.... like WoW? ( seen what it is like from South Park. i r not into that )

you CAN play for free
it's not updated as often
updates are not nearly as good
you don't pay 11 bucks a month
it's 2D
it makes much less sense
no opposing sides
no PVP
in comparison, No fun.

MapleStory sucks something fierce. Leveling takes literally forever, most everyone is out to mess up your training, too many idiots, and when I played, everyone kept whining about something.

It's almost nothing like WoW. Oh, and the South Park episode barely shows what WoW has. At all.

Runescape fails hard. Why would you pay like 5 bucks for nothing? Sure, 5 dollars is nothing, but what am I paying it for? Building a house? Getting special skills and aroumer? Sounds cool, but no way it's worth it.

Runescape has tons of scammers, tons of ways to cheat, and no cool things to wear for mages and rangers. Sure you have those gold trimmed robes, and those dragon hides for rangers, but thats it!? Sure there are others, but there not cool at all.

but in MS, they have quests which give you a chance at NX stuff, but 90% of the time they give you something horrible, which you end up needing NX to repair.

Hahah. In RuneScape, to actually REMOTELY have fun, you need to pay monthly. Players on F2P get no poop whatsoever.

RuneScape and MapleStory both suck, hard.
