Let me know when you kiddies are doing derivatives with the Chain Rule and integrals. Then we can talk.

we're doing derivatives at the end of the course
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
and i may take calculus next semester

Derivatives aren't bad if you can use the Power Rule on them. It's when you throw in trig that it starts exuding major amounts of suckage. I don't think that you'll have to do anything particularly dicey if it's not a full-fledged Calculus I course.

clompy

honors geometry
i'm a freshman

its fairly easy and somewhat boring

but then, i like it WAY better than algebra

Algebra 1.  ;D Not too hard. But I am scared of what's to come...

Algebra Part 1. I suck at Math, but maybe it's because Math has always been my class before lunch (No energy due to hunger) or at the end of the day (When I just want to go home) but this year, I have Math 1st period and I'm getting an A.

And I'm only a Freshmen too, just to point that out. I was talking about Middle school when I talked about Math the previous years.

Umm... wild guess:

sinx=(secxcotxcosx)/(1-cosx)

I haven't got that far(in math in class), but it looks hard.

HEY LOOK HEY

sinxcosx=(secxcotx)/(1-(cos^2)x)

lol, we're on this unit right now.  you don't solve for x tho, you try to make one side equal the other.

sinxcosx = (1/cosx*cos/sinx)/1-cos^2x

sinxcosx = sinx/cosxsinx*cos^2/cosxsinx

so,

sinx (cos^2)/cosxsinx / 1-cos^2x = sinxcosx

1 - cos^2 x = sin^2x

sinx(cos^2)/cosxsinx / sin^2x = sinxcosx

sinx(cos^2)/cosxsinx * 1/sin^2x = sinxcosx

sinx(cos^2)/cosxsinx(sin^2x) = sinxcosx

sinXes cancel

cos^2/cosx(sin^2x) = sinxcosx

sinx^2 - 1 = cos^2

sin^2x / cosx(sin^2x)

sin^2xs cancel

1/cosx....

I lose. :'(

I knew how to do this stuff yesterday... >_>

it's easier on paper.

I'm in Pre-cal 12.

Calculus. It's so-so. I'm getting an A- in it so far though.  :-\
