Oh lawdy Forza Motorsport 2 endurance races give big rewards, but take a little over an hour to complete.

Can get tedious...  but I like it.

Lastest endurance race won: Class C at the Mazda Leguna Seca Raceway in a Chrysler Talon TSI.

I usually use AWD cars because those cars aren't as easy to intercourse  up in, elicit minor wheelspin (important if you want to keep tire life high), and accelerate pretty darn fast.

Try some of the 8 hour races in the Gran Turismo series, although in the 4th one you can have the CPU drive for you at up to 3x the speed :B
