The recent interest comes from an influx in users being gloomy (which tends to happen about this time of year). Despite that it tends to happen, we want to be proactive in ensuring that NSFCD is not promoting this, and is, in fact, a leader in stopping it (well, as big a leader as a site this size can be).

I've been trained in suicide prevention. I've presented to health classes at my school. The last time we did it, there actually was a girl who just returned to school, and was on suicide watch. When we were listing causes of depression and stuff, my friend and I saw her counting them on her hand :(
