And it's pointless to quote right above that much when the post is literately right above. At least we have the "View image" modification for when people quote images.

When people click on the "new" beside a thread, it takes them to the newest post, and outs that at the top of thier screen.  Quoting a post allows the new user to see exactly what the post is referring to without any need for movement or scrolling.  Efficiency.

Yeah. I know. I just do it a lot less or delete the quote. I notice it more of a habit here than any of the other forums I go on. It's just odd especially since we're not a huge site or anything like that.
