Alright everyone, I've got a question: what exactly qualifies a thread to be in either Console Gaming or General Gaming?

General gaming is the catch all board.

Console gaming is for games released on the consoles and only them. So if you want to talk about a system or a specific game on the system, go there. If you want to talk the series, genre, etc. that goes to General.

It doesn't seem like anyone does that, though; there are random games and series spread amongst both boards.

The fact that it was supposed to be a sequel to the classics is a shame.

I've only played the demo so I'm not very knowledgeable on it.
But the improved graphics are really nice.
