No first party games announced for it? I guess they really are going after third parties.

Well, we saw Zelda HD awesomeness (just a tech demo, probably, but it's still the best looking thing Nintendo has ever created), those two Mii games that were actually playable, AND they did announce that both Wii U and 3DS would get Super Smash Bros games.

Super

Yeah, only two games "announced" for it. The Smash Bros. game hasn't even been started though (according to Sakurai), so we probably won't see that for a few years. Pikmin will probably be at launch, but other than that nothing. Oh, and those trailers for Ninja Gaiden and stuff? That was the PS3/360 versions of all those games. Yeah... So basically, just the bird video and the Zelda video to see how things look. Oh, and Nintendo, do NOT pull another Spaceworld as far as zelda is concerned. That video looks awesome, and I want to play that.

If what Tupin said about hard drives making development easier, then I guess the development for the next Smash Bros. would be faster, right? I think it's safe to assume it could be released as the launch release for the console.

Uh, no. Sakurai said they haven't even started making the darn thing. Even if WiiU releases at the latest holiday 2012, that only leaves a year and a half to make the game if they started right now. Also, Sakurai is too busy finishing Icirus to start right now. So yeah, launch title? That's pretty much a no. Holiday 2013? Possibly.

Icarus. I know that because of Legends of the Hidden Temple.

Don't know what Pit's name comes from, though...

Pikmin 3 was announced years ago, yet we haven't even heard any further news on it.

Sweet. I'm really looking forward to this.
I just pray to God that they don't mess it up with huuuuuuuuge changes.
Pikmin 1 and 2 were simply amazing.

In fact, I think I'm going to LP both of those once I finish up my DKCR walkthrough.

The WiiU doesn't have a hard drive. Internal flash memory, like the Wii.
There was something about external hard drive for it, though.
