Welcome back, KJ!

Got 3 games at GameStop yesterday. Star Fox Adventures, Star Fox Assault (I'm trying to collect Gamecube stuff since GameStop doesn't buy them anymore and they're going extinct), and a title I've never actually played before... Okami.

Gotta say, Okami's pretty fun, and the Japanese culture painting stuff is awesome, but the camera gives me a lot of pain; also, certain parts feel a lot like Twilight Princess' wolf sections, only better.
Star Fox Assault brings back major nostalgia... Definitely my personal favorite of the Star Fox series, with 64 right behind. Wasn't a fan of Adventures, except for the end with Falco. If there was one bird I would intercourse ... it would be him. If I was into that sort of thing. Mainly I'd like to hook up with the voice actor(s).
I get obsessively manic over things. It's a problem.

kj was easily one of the most pleasant people on this site even if she did pretend to be her own brother

Sounds like an interesting story.

Man, maybe it's a bit of nostalgia, and it's definitely a bit of my modern knowledge of the industry, but I never realized how perfectly the Gamecube Star Foxes fit within their creators' stereotypes.

After playing Banjo-Kazooie, Banjo-Tooie, and DK64, it's clear that Adventures is no stretch for a Rare game; the collecting of items, the huge world, the instantly engrossing environments, the many original characters, a sort of silliness even with the dark plot (they're all DINOSAURS, it's hard to get upset when one gets killed)... it's just such a great adventure, even if you can pretty easily tell it's their first Gamecube excursion.

Likewise, Star Fox Assault is perfectly Namco; the game just screams "arcade" with every second of its gameplay, its multiplayer, its unlockables, its plot, even the short ten missions. Granted, a $50 arcade shooter sounds iffy to some people, but since I just bought it for $14, it's pretty dang fun.

I'm also thinking maybe the next Star Fox will be a reboot; 64 was a reboot of the original SNES game, and Command, the last game, had 9 endings... I used to be confused as to why they would do that, but after half a decade without a game, it seems like 64-Adventures-Assault-Command was the full series and the player can choose how the whole thing ends.

And you, sir, have a beautiful name, avatar, signature, and basically everything else.

Also it isn't that interesting of a story. Basically I had this whole incestual, Norman Bates type of relationship with a brother who died. I skinned him and cooked his innards, which served as delicious meals as well as bedtime cuddle organs. After I was done sucking his blood, I kept his skeleton in my closet and raped it at night. You know, usual boring stuff. Meanwhile, I pretended to be him on various occasions throughout life, sporting his hair and skin that I took off his own body. Then I spent about a year in a psychiatric ward and now I'm all better so I came back. The end.
I get obsessively manic over things. It's a problem.

I really hate how I've made more than 12,000 posts here. Thankfully this swaying, moving Chandelure makes it all worth it.

I need to check out Star Fox Assault. And I love Falco too. I have Star Fox Adventures...which wasn't actually too bad. Except Tricky. Fuck Tricky.

Super

I just saw "Fuck Tricky," and thought you were talking about SSX Tricky. I was not going to be happy if that was the case.

Ha.
You'd be the first to think that.
Besides me, of course.
