So this is how it went yesterday...
During lunch, my friend(lets call him wighty) said he'll give me a dollar if I went and sat at Jessica's table for the rest of the period. And by this time there was about 15 minutes left in lunch and she wasn't doing any work so I decided this was my chance. And then Wighty said that if I have a conversation he would give me two dollars. So I walked over and said...
"Can I sit here for the rest of the period?"
The three of the girls at the table gave each other confused looks and shrugged, so I sat.(There was a chair between me and the next person over on both of my sides, and Jessica was one of the two). Of course I couldn't get any words out of my mouth so I was just sitting there looking around.(trying to prevent myself from constantly looking back at Jessica)Then they started to whisper to each other and then Jessica finally asked...
"Can I ask why you are sitting here?"
"Just trying to get a dollar."
And then one of the other girls said "A dollar?"
"Yeah..."
Then Jessica said "That's random..."
"It is, but I have been known for being random." (This is true because I was considered the most random kid at the church I used to got to.)
Time passes and Wighty tries different things to get me to start a conversation...and eventually Jessica asks
"What grade are you in?"
"Tenth"
"Oh, we thought you were a freshman."(dangit, I'm no freshmeat)

Wighty eventually comes and joins me and we talked for about a minute then the bell rang...

Oh yea, and Wighty doesn't believe I talked to her so I only got one dollar, so I'm hoping to make that a excuse to go back and talk to her...but this time have a much better conversation...

I never said it was a dare, next time I talked to her I was going to explain why I was getting money for going over there. My explanation would be something like I'm not that talkative of a person and my friends want me to get more talkative/less shy by trying to make new friends...Something to that affect..

My explanation would be something like I'm not that talkative of a person and my friends want me to get more talkative/less shy by trying to make new friends...Something to that affect..
