Went to court today again.

-My attorney wasn't there. They gave me a new one.
-The attorney told me that my previous attorney didn't send any paperwork to the D.A. (all of the evidence we had against my sister).
-The attorney offered me a "Plea Bargain" and One Year A.C.O.D. If I accept "Guilty", one anger management class. If I stick with Not Guilty, we go to trial and it lasts months. I thought it was bullpoop that I had to accept the anger management class, but if the justice system failed me, not only did I waste months in court doing the trial, but I could spend 15 days in jail. I took the plea bargain. The A.C.O.D. means I need to stay out of trouble for a whole year.
-The attorney asks for details about the anger management class and gets denied the One Day Class. Instead it's 8 weeks of classes at 25 dollars a class. FUCK THAT, WE'RE TAKING IT TO TRIAL.
-The D.A. talked to my mom directly, who was a witness. My mom explained everything that the D.A. was supposed to get in the paperwork.
-The D.A. comes back in and says they'd like to drop all charges. The judge gives me one day A.C.O.D. and says I can leave.

All of this bullpoop is finally over. :)


Also I disapprove of the new board layout, it doesn't feel right.

I've been in and out of court because my sister pressed false charges on me saying I beat her. It never happened. She full on attacked me and I pushed her off of me. My sisters are both apepoop insane.

Fortunately my mom was a witness, and my dad backed me as well.

It just sucked having to go through all of that, because I didn't do anything. My first court date I had a breakdown when I walked out of the courtroom. It's embarrassing, demeaning, frightening.

That's unfortunate. At least you had a witness, otherwise it would have gone badly. Judges tend to believe the "poor defenseless woman" more than the "big scary man".
