Sonic Advance 2 is the only one my bro and I both played, and it was actually very fun.

No. They were all new games in a mostly Genesis inspired setting and gameplay.

Sega did an amazing job on that series, even though I only played the 2nd one.

I heard Sonic Unleashed was just plain horrible.
No positive thoughts whatsoever.

Day Stages are awesome.

To balance this, the Night Stages are horrible, and that's an understatement.
