The Big Announcement!

HEY. THIS IS FAKE. SERIOUSLY.
Silvercon was pretty close XD NSIDERCON. Anyone remember when we got about 500$ for this server? Well, we saved it, and Snorkel paid for the server on his own. Using this money, we've bought a room roughly the size of a Gymnasium in Dallas, Texas o-o We informed Nintendo that we created one of the largest forums celebrating old NSider (I.E. a fansite), and an unnamed user, active here, is in fact a Nintendo representative o-o They decided that, to honor this huge event, they'd allow us to demo a single game for Wii, and for DS. We chose SSBB (With GCN or Mote-Chuck combo. Actually, first to show either for Wii :O) and Metroid Dread (Yes, it exists.). We'll be holding this for 2 days, on an adress to be sent by mass-Email closer to the date, on December the 6th and December the 7th. Oh, and of course, those two aren't the only available games XD We'll have a small showing of 3rd party, including a copy of a COD4 Wii demo (I'll be getting the shipment of that one, since I live closest to Dallas, but I was wigging out when I heard this kinda crap even EXISTED) and Multi-player only Mario@Sonic: Olympics. Naturally, we'll have more, but that stuff is gonna stay under-wraps until we get closer :D

Oh, and Silvercon ain't got nothing on this.

(Edit: Someone asked how we got a Gym sized room for 2 days. It was mostly charity >->;; The 500 was used to show commitment to Infinity Ward, so they'd know we weren't joking (And a tiny bit of bribery for the MSOlympics multi XD))

I don't have authority in each region of Texas. And this is meant as a meet of all the NSiders, not just each section. And I couldn't get that many demo's and multi-packs =P

I can't really understand what you guys are thinking. I think it'll be a total waste. I thought it was a joke at first, and I'm still wondering. I expect maybe...two people to show up?

Yeah, I just read it a little closer. I should have gotten it just skimming over something as stupid as Brawl, and I should slam my head into a wall for not getting it when it mentioned Metroid Dread. I missed the date on the first reading.

So, instead of just being stupid, they absolutely suck at faking things. Good job, guys.
