Ever burn yourself doing something stupid?

*shakes head* My index and middle finger on my left hand are KILLING me! x_x

I was cooking dinner *stuff shells* and I take them out of the oven just as the timer goes of.  I was chatting with my room mate and so without thinking I grab the tray without an oven mit.  Did I let go right away? NO! *slaps forehead* I was so distracted it actually took more then 2 seconds for it to register in my brian. -_-

So yeah needless to say I now have blisters on my fingers and when I touch anything mildly cold or hot the pain shoots through them and they throb. :(

as a matter of fact, yes. tis was painfull... and ..smelly  :O3 years ago i was refilling my uncle's lighter w/ lighter fluid. with me not realizing that the space underneath the button was actually sealed, i filled it up with some lighter fluid, tested it, and it exploded a few inches from my face, and it also burned/scarred the skin around the thumb and pointer finger ;_; i had 3 burn scars on my face, it also permanently removed a very small....it left a tiny slice-like emptiness in my right eyebrow >_> it is not very visible unless you were right in my face :P and to top it off, my whole head stunk like gas o_O and when i showered, it burned even more ;__; it healed about a month after. thats another reason why i will never smoke
