Hmm

That adds up to 19.44GB, so I guess there is another hidden folder on the Mac HD because my computer records 23.27GB being used meaning that 3.83GB is unaccounted for.

It's a 120GB harddrive that has 23.27GB uses and 88.2GB free. At first looking at that you'd notice that that only adds up to 111.47GB meaning that 8.53 is missing, but I know that most of that can be accounted to the fact that Harddrive manufacturers all display the incorrect size (a GB is 1024MB so the size differs from what is printed) and the fact that it's formatted.

I just want to make sure I don't have any missing space.   Should a formatted 120GB harddrive have about 8.53GB used up?  Is there a folder that is hidden holding about 3.83GB?

Edit: After doing the math myself I found that the size of a 120GB harddrive is actually 111.759GB, (120,000,000,000/(1024*1024*1024)) so that leaves about missing, which I'm assuming is just used for formatting.  Is there another folder that's hidden though?
