Why did I buy a Wii?

I see nothing that's actually worth buying until SMG comes out, and then there's not much more besides SSBB, Mario Kart, and De Blob.

I agree whole heartedly. Content wise, Wii sucks. It's been out for half a year, and there's only about 10 good game, most first party Nintendo games, and a few being remakes. Biggest reason we bought ours was for one reason, our GC was dead by then, and we wanted to play more of those games.

I've been getting fair use out of my Wii, though I'd like a few more quality games.

I currently have:

-Guitar Hero III
-Madden 07
-Wii Play
-Wii Sports
-Strikers
-Twilight Princess
-CoD3

Out of those, I regularly play 3.
I think TP sucks, though I'm not a fan of Zelda.

I enjoy the one Virtual Console game I've bought so far, and the fact that I can play GC games is good.

I hope that Brawl will motivate me to play more.

The only games i really play now are GHIII, and Excite Truck. I really didn't enjoy SPM that much, but TP was decent. I'm looking forward to Galaxy, SSBB, and Mario kart Wii, but that's it.

The same was said with the 360 before GoW was released.  It didn't have next to poop before then; the only REAL selling point was that it was the first next-gen console with a lot of promise and decent games.  But as soon as it's first major killer-app came, it went up from there.

The same will happen for the Wii and PS3.

Why would you want a $400 player with only 16GB?

I'm enjoying my Wii. Corruption is fun, as is the occasional game of Wii Sports. I've only bought Super Metroid off the VC, but I'll probably buy Super Castlevania IV soon. As for the future, I'll get Galaxy, Manhunt 2, and Brawl. That'll keep me busy for a while.

Some people value appearance over functionality. I really wouldn't mind having an 8 Gig iPod Touch, I only have like 5 Gigs of music to being with. >_>

These people are strange to me. The Touch is a nice player, but capacity and price make it not worth it. If we were talking a 32GB SSD here, then we'd have something.

Meh, I got it for smash, metroid, and zelda, and haven't gotten many other games aside from those (super paper mario was one of those).

but smash is what I'm looking forward to, considering how I still play Melee... on my Wii.

I use my Wii more for GCN games than anything else... Melee, RE4, F-Zero GX, Metroid Prime.

Just got back on my low% hyper mode MP3 game though.

Hyper Mode is intercourse ing hard X.X, teh first boss can take away 1 intercourse ing energy tank out of 2 you have.
