what is veteran's day? rememberance day was yesterday, do we really need two days of it in a row, or is it something completely different?

the reason I have school off here in canada is because it's a teacher improvement day, or whatever.  teachers go and learn stuff.

It's a day to remember the veterans that fought in some war in some country for the US XD
