I upgraded from Windows Xp to Windows XP XP:

Tell me the point of having a virtual machine with the host and guest OS the same :-\
I have (a not-so-legal) Media Center Edition, Ubuntu, and g|OS on my virtual machine, while my main operating system is XP Home Edition.

I use it to test programs before I install them, and I also use it to check network settings throughout the house.

I have Ubuntu on it as well.
