TP was subpar in every meaning of the word. The graphics looked better in Wind Waker, characters and environments were more lovable in WW, and it was just generally boring.

I felt like I was controlling a robot in TP. Link had no emotion whatsoever.

Half the time I forgot who I was supposed to rescue. I think her name was Ilia.

Yes, the Wind Waker Link has more emotions, I'm happy when he jumps of joy when he defeates the bosses. :D
