Does this thread really bother you that much. I know people that joke around like that on a daily basis. And complaining isn't going to do anything about it.

It shouldn't bother me, but it does. A lot of my friends joke around like that too, but they don't around me because they know anything remotely discriminatory bothers me. I try not to complain, but I hate it when these sort of things show up because they have been said to me and my parents in complete seriousness.

I said I have lived... I probably should've said used to live. I now live in a predominantly black/hispanic area. And being racist towards a few people does not make sense. Thus the term "racist". I have no problem with not liking an individual, but suggesting such unto an entire group is what irritates me.
