I can't really answer that, because I can't even fathom what it's like not being freakishly huge.
I'm 6"6-6"7. My father's 6"5 and my grandfather on my mother's side was 6"3.
I can tell you one of the cons though...Being my height while visiting Japan. *Rubs head.*
