What's so good about being tall?

It might be because I'm a girl, but I don't get what's good about being tall.

"Which would you rather be?" choices obviously being "Taller" and "Thinner"

Also, mods, this isn't really a Wii-related topic so don't move it. It's just that I used a poll question on it as basis of the discussion.

I like being tall because I dont have to ask for help to reach something that often I hate asking for favors period.
I am sort of overweight too...I am not afraid to say that.

1. On average, Tall people get paid more (on the flip side, short people get paid less).
2. You can reach the cookie jar without arousing suspicion (aside from missing cookies, olol)
3. You can play basketball if you're tall, and just about any other sport.  Taller people have advantages in most sports.
4. Taller people look better on camera, are consequently hired more for photo shoots, etc.
5. Taller people are more intimidating, will be hired sooner than a short person with the same credentials (unless said employer is also short).


Just a scary thought, numbers 1 and 5 are facts.

1: That's probably mostly for jobs pertaining to physical work. I'm a geek and that shouldn't affect me at all
