Japanese OVA to American VHS...never got a theatrical release (it's barely more than an hour twenty minutes).
It's actually pretty decent for a game movie, in fact, out of all the horrendous game movies I've seen this one is undoubtedly the best I've seen. I've seen it on Youtube and Veoh, so you could probably watch it.

Apparently when someone pitched the idea and then sent it onto Sega of Japan, they approved it at first and then denied it because they were already making a movie with a third party.

Which means it will be an anime, which means it will be dubbed by 4Kids, which means it will suck.  :(

They already had an Anime Sonic the Hedgehog movie. Not only was it the best Anime movie I've ever seen (Except for DBZ movies 2,3,4,5,6,8,10,11 and 12. :P), I don't think it was dubbed by 4 kidz.

Tomb Raider: Completely banked on Jolie's sex appeal, and had little to do with the actual "game". Basically an excuse to put Jolie in an action movie
