I have just noticed something. All of the veterans that have been announced as being in Brawl are not unlockable in Melee. Meaning; you have all of them without having to do anything (minus pressing the power button and a few buttons). Perhaps unlockable characters in the past will remain hidden until the release date?
Discuss.

Ooh, intelligence. :P
Anyway, I think it seems like a very likely possibility.
I agree, but we are still 2 veterans short of the starters from melee.

Jigglypuff was unlockable.-_-'
But if you counted her as a starter, it makes four...

Well if you count the other 9 veterans you have 13. (Sarcasm) Seriously, why count hidden characters?

Doesn't mean they're playable. they could be ATs.

I strongly dought that would happen. They would have said something if they were items.

Can we please just say they are playable? You always should go with the best possibility and stay with it. You can't make the villian of Zelda an AT especially after Twilight Princess's success and making Shiek an AT isn't logical.
