There are around 40 members on, Someone HAS to like Daft Punk here.
So, what the hell is the song talking about? Or are the lyrics literal?
I don't know, but it makes a decent training montage...
Although, I HAVE heard that it's one of those songs where you play it backwards and there's a hidden message, but I never really looked into it.
Sexual innuendo.
I honestly have no idea. But it probably isn't talking about anything.
Probably just one of those things that doesn't need a meaning. Or it translates into how they go through their life/ do their work.
I SEE YOU RIOSAN
EXPLAIN

It could be just made up
sex? :-[
Basically, it's a combination of different chunks of words that can be arranged in multiple ways. The point of HBFS seems to be open to interpretation (along with a great number of their other songs), but I find it appropriate to consider the lyrics to be the liberal determination of humanity, and that is doing everything faster and better. This goes along with technology and how everything must be going on and "our work is never over," which it truly never is as we reach ever closer to perfection.
Work it Make it
Do it Makes us
Harder Better
Faster Stronger
More Than Hour
Hour Never
Ever After
Work is Over
Work it Harder Make it Better
Do it Faster Makes us Stronger
More Than Ever Hour After
Hour Work Is Never Over

HBFS isn't even their best song. It doesn't come close to being the best on Discovery or even Musique Vol. 1.
