from the video thread ;)
just needed to reiterate.
Sakurai said himself it wasn't.

I think the "mohawk" represents the curl on his head. didn't you see the how to play video? when you see the green alloy you can clearly see that it's attacks and movements are similar to,if not the same as, Jigglypuff!
maybe, but i'm thinking it's a character we haven't seen yet (as in a newcomer). And I highly doubt the mohawk is the curly thing. There not even close to similar.

I thought that too, at first, but their movements are too similar for me to think that any longer.

Kirby isn't Jigglypuff ::)
It is Kirby, the translation said it looks like Kirby, but it's not. Also, after playing that footage over and over, the two distinctions that it makes between Kirby and Jigglypuff's models are the way it falls (with it's arms trailing like Kirby, not held in front like Jigglypuff) and it's forward smash (with a quick spin-like motion like Kirby, not just a launched kick like Jigglypuff)

On the other hand, the more I look at the video, the more I'm convinced Yellow is based off of Mario... unless AC moves just like Mario, then this can't be used as evidence. :(

Yeah, those two are obvious. I guess only veterans are alloys.
Yeah, I think based on the new video with the alloys, the Yellow one is an Animal Crosser and the green one COULD be Jiggly.

That is the only evidence that could ever lead to it being AC...
take that off and you have a mario clone...I still think its mario since kirby has no mohawk and the green one is him... :|

They could be simply wearing a more historically correct viking helmet.
Much more spread out horns.
Besides, how would Mario have horns?

BUT THE HORNS ARE WEIRD
Um... since when do alloys have to be based off of a character?
Can't they be unique and not based off anything? Like Master Hand, Subspace army, etc.

For the last two iterations the fighting teams were based off of playables, and, judging from gameplay footage, this holds true in Brawl.
