I think the "mohawk" represents the curl on his head. didn't you see the how to play video? when you see the green alloy you can clearly see that it's attacks and movements are similar to,if not the same as, Jigglypuff!

maybe, but i'm thinking it's a character we haven't seen yet (as in a newcomer). And I highly doubt the mohawk is the curly thing. There not even close to similar.

I thought that too, at first, but their movements are too similar for me to think that any longer.

It is Kirby, the translation said it looks like Kirby, but it's not. Also, after playing that footage over and over, the two distinctions that it makes between Kirby and Jigglypuff's models are the way it falls (with it's arms trailing like Kirby, not held in front like Jigglypuff) and it's forward smash (with a quick spin-like motion like Kirby, not just a launched kick like Jigglypuff)
