Anyway, the cutscenes look awesome, our blue Bolt is still as fast as ever, the Sully gameplay makes it look like an Action game, and the music...well, the music is okay.
I'm sold on this so far, but to me, it's too early to tell if this is going to be
good.
Sonic gameplay looks decent...stil just "hold right while Sonic does everything" but meh better than Sonic 06 pile of poop.
Scully gameplay looks HORRIBLE. Slow and platforming? That isn't Sonic SEGA.

Looking more at the videos, I already see what disappointments to look forward to.
Notice how about half the gameplay is similar to secret rings but with less user input--just stuff like pressing L and R to move through the narrow path and pressing a series of buttons to do a tricks with the very rare tilting left and right of joystick. Secret Rings was the worst junk Sonic has ever had in my opinion and this game takes half its Sonic gameplay from it. The other half of the regular Sonic gameplay looks like a sidescroller with, once again, less control from the user. Almost all the sidescrolling areas shown in the video are just completely straightforward. The most user input I see needed is the part where he bounces back and forth between springs that have coins between them. Whatever, this might satisfy the weird want of many people here to have Sonic just go fast with no adventuring and whatnot, but if that's what you want, you might as well watch a TV show or movie of Sonic.
Outside of Sully Sonic, there appears to be no free movement. Sonic's paths are shown so far as completely straight without even a change in direction or whatever. This does NOT look like the Adventure games at all. Sully Sonic looks like they might pull it off well but it's the sort of gameplay I'd expect more in other games than in Sonic. Maybe it'll be comparable to Knuckles without treasure hunting.
From the looks of things, Sonic is once again the only playable character. Reminds me even more of Secret Rings.

While you are starting to get a little annoying, I have to agree with the fact that Sega most certainly does not learn from their mistakes when it comes to Sonic games nowadays. The best game in Sonic in it for years has been Smash Bros... and its not made by the people who made Sonic games. Mario & Sonic was, and its probably one of the worst Mario games :(

Sonic moves to fast in the Secret Rings like parts in order to do anything other than press the L or R button when it tells you.

I'm not sure what to think. While the trailer made the game look cool, previous Sonic experiences have me doubtful about whether it'll be good or not.

We dont know if he cheated, we barely saw anything. But I honestly think this will be good. Mock me if I'm wrong, but i will still think its good (if its as bad as Sonic 06 or better I will)

Well, stating that we saw Super Sonic at the beginning of the game, he will likely have a new super form at the end of the game

The last time where you could play as Super Sonic in more than just the final boss fight was Sonic R for the Saturn.
The last platformer where you could play as him was Sonic CD.
Damn I can't wait for this game......... I already watched that video like 5 times... And the music was awsome (imo)...
The trailer looks like it incorporates a lot of side-scrolling. If so, this is most definitely a good thing. Based on this, it looks like Sonic Team has (at least) partially learned their lesson. Now they just need to drop the corny music and keep the things that caused the last (5 or 6?) Sonic games to suck out.
Not a pre-order for me, but definitely a game I'll be watching for review analysis of.

Because there wasn't a good Sonic game until now (But I liked Sonic Heroes, but after that, it kept going down).
Now we just need to get rid of his actual voice and everything is going to be back to normal again!
Where the hell have you been? Sonic rush and Sonic Rush Adventure are awesome. Secret Rings was pretty cool also.
Sonic Rush / Rush Adventure were amazing. Not Secret Rings though. So many glitches it was barely playable, and poop voice acting. =\

Rush was Ok, but I liked Rush Adventure better.
Secret Rings is one of the worst Sonic games.
Zero Gravity was worse.
I think the game looks more like a movie than it does a game.

Sonic's going fast? And the camera's behind him? AWESOME! I just hope the game isn't JUST about Sonic like Secret Rings was; I love the other characters and the Adventure stories, and even though you'll only play as Normal/Were/Super Sonic, I really hope Knuckles, Tails, etc. are an important part of the story. Also, I hope it's an important story, not just a couple stupid cutscenes whose sole purpose is to make an excuse for the location of the level (like in the Riders and Secret Rings). Of course, I'm still gonna buy this game first chance I get!
