I tried the demo courtesy of E3 week and was decently interested in the game.
Will it be worth a buy?
And does one need to play the rest of the games to not be totally lost?
I wanna try it D:

I wanna try it D:
There's some kind of boss near the end and I got my ass handed to me. :D
The combat seemed pretty fun, although whatever the blue bar is that lets you do attacks run out real fast...
I played the demo, it was fun. I want to buy the game. Also, I only have ToS and I want this one, so I guess you don't NEED all of the games.
Well, the combat system looks like the one in ToS and TotA, so, buy it! It has voiced skits!
I just meant if there was some kind of over-arching story line.
I figured out there was a normal attack button. D:
The boss is still hard as hell.
I wish my Xbox worked :<.
I tried Too Human instead, haha that was freaking awesome, might try ToV, but it doesn't look like a game I'd play =\

Can anybody just answer the darn question?
I'm
not going to look for either of those games, so I would like to know if its necessary to play past installments or not...
If so, I'll read it in a synopsis or something...

On Amazon, you can get Symphonia for about 20 bucks, and Phantasia for GBA for like under 10.

The first time I played the demo I died on the boss. I'll be buying the game next week.
My brother and I are most definitely getting it.
EDIT: I just realized that this thread is old. Sorry.
