No, she was either 15 or 16, as she's a year older than I.

Why is Palin the best looking one in that picture? They impregnated the wrong one.

Personally, I'm more distracted by the scenery behind them.

I just find it funny that it's always the Republicans that lose THEIR "family values" first.  :D

Meh, McCain just chose her as a gimmick to appeal to former Hilary supporters that don't care who is elected or to what position, as long as a woman is in high power.

I find it interesting that there's never a media firestorm when any ordinary teenager gets pregnant, but when it's a Vice President's daughter, everyone suddenly goes omgwtf.

Palin is still the most interesting VP choice I've seen in a while regardless of the motives behind that choice. Better her than Biden, at the very least.

Well, duh. It's a Vice President's daughter.

McCain chose Palin as a gimmick to pull away people that are still sore about Hilary not getting the nomination.

I bet if the governor of Alaska was a man with the same credentials and morals, he wouldn't have been nominated.

The last election might have been a "Douche vs. Turd" election, but this one is more of a popularity contest than an election.

Actually no,

David Cook was an upset to David Archuleta.
Ruben Studdard was an upset to Clay Aiken.

So, no the favorite doesn't always win.

Ruben can sing. He ain't some whiny-sounding lil boy that only the preps like, 'kay? Get it right. =P

As for the preggers thing... Meh, I knew that a couple of days ago. I'm kinda thinking McCain only picked Palin because she's a female. I mean really, he thinks he'll get people who would've voted for Clinton, but I don't think people who actually pay attention to these things will insta-poof and change their beliefs.

Okay I'm done now.

I never denied that Ruben couldn't sing, I was only stating that his win was an upset because Clay Aiken was heavily favored.

Either way, Clay Aiken won out in the end, having sold many more records than Ruben.

Oh and how about Taylor Hicks beating out Chris Daughtry (the biggest favorite of them all), even if Daughtry wasn't in the finale, the fact that he got out in the Top 4 was a huge upset.
