Well I resisted from posting here for quite a while. Seems like the others are doing the wrong thing with the right reasoning and Mack is doing the right thing with the wrong reason (more like accusing but whatever)
If you're going to troll, don't have 5 darned people leave on the same day, plan it out more. It was only really funny to you guys; Maybe to 1-2 more forum members. And no I'm not following mack on this; I read the threads themselves first. If it was just one of you making an extremely funny leave that was unexpected then none of this would have happened and the joke would still be going on. I'm normally a person who thinks most things are funny but this in general is intercourse ing retarded. This is a person who LAUGHS at a lot of posts here. If you saw me webcam like a few other people have, or even voice chat, you would hear me laughing a lot.

Yes it's the internet, and things should not be taken seriously on an NINTENDO based forum, but still the END Result was highly negative which I'm sure wasn't the true intentions of the "Leavers". So I feel that they should apologies to say the least.
After all, when "guests" see 4+ Main users leaving nearly at one time for their "reasons", this would hinder the guests from registering because they'd see the forums dieing.
In any case, as with any forum, I think we were over due for a majorly epic forum drama scene.

Now, we were just going to give this a few days. Some people wanted to come back Sunday, but I was leaning toward Friday/Saturday-ish.
Watch the reactions, looking at users crapping themselves, etc. Mack's post is pretty much what killed it.
Really, it was all just a joke. We would come back, everyone would "LOL YOU GOT US XDDDD," talk about it for a bit, and we'd move on. Mack didn't need to overreact or leave.

For a fairly extreme comparison, if someone in your family told you they were gonna commit suicide, then just as they're about to do it they go "LOL JUST KIDDING", how would you feel?

So, it looks like I have another thing to add.
5 users pretending to leave, then not is is NO WAY like pretending to commit suicide then saying OMG JUST KIDDING, Rob. Leaving a intercourse in internet forum isn't nearly as extreme as even transferring schools. I would think Mack went crazy for no reason over that, but again, those 5 users, sadly enough, made up at least 60% of the forum's posting.

I originally was going to blame the 5 users, because well, this happened before too. That is why a (half-joke, maybe) rule was put in stating "Anyone threatening to leave will be banned" to prevent people from kidding around like this. I guess a single user leaving a forum this small is enough to have an impact. So, five. Again, the 60%+ of the forum posting would have made me mad too if I was Mack. Obviously I can see why Mack was so mad about it. What I don't see is why he couldn't stay.
So, yes. The five users did in a way make Mack leave, and in a way it was their fault, HOWEVER, Mack should have sucked it up and stayed. Therefore, even though it is the five's faults, they are not the ones to blame.
Maybe I'm missing part of the story here, but that's my input.

Now, knowing that, the 4 of us leaving right AFTER Doodle should have struck you as even more suspicious.
But, seeing as you're not an IRC regular, there is no way you could have known about Doodle's trolling, so, I guess you, are one I can't blame for taking it seriously.
Everyone else though, all the IRC regulars, it should have hit you like lightning. You just needed to recall a few things, and it would have all clicked.
But hey, this sort of stuff is impossible. We can't even do anything without causing some sort of poop storm.
I actually did find it quite odd that doodle would just get up and leave like that, and I don't even really come here regularly. I didn't enough enough about the whole situation though.
This whole thing seems really intercoursing stupid to me anyway.
You dolts fail to remember one thing, it doesn't strike some people as odd that a group of you might suddenly leave. Especially considering all 5 of you are friends/in the same stupid little clique. Why? Because stupid poop happens in chat sometimes, and that was what I chocked this up to. And then before I could read the threads, I was informed of all this poop going on now. And thinking everyone's going to be "lol you got us" when you came back is idiotic. You'll get a few laughs from people, but I imagine a nice chunk of people would have just been kind of mad at you. It was a poopty joke, and looks like us losing Mack now is the price you pay for it.
And it's not just the joke here that made Mack decide to leave. He's been sick of the attitudes a lot of people give him about how he does his job here, about what people think of this forum, and this was simply the straw that broke the camel's back.

I might mention if our "clique" was going to leave for something happening in chat, we wouldn't have had excuses like "I have to go chase a girl" in fact, such girl isn't even interested in me so I have no chasing to do.
