I think my computer's clock battery is dead. Anyone know what size battery it takes? >_>;
Sorry I don't. But would you like a Scooby Snack to cheer you up?
.............................................................That was just lame........................................
1. Turn off computer
2. Pop it out of motherboard
3. Look at engraved symbols or measure battery
4. Buy one that is same size
The battery looks like an oversized watch battery and can come out easily and cleanly.

hmm...well how do you know the clock battery is dead? what clues are showing you? is the clock maybe just not showing on the bottom-right corner of the screen?
it really depends on what you're seeing there...

The clock will always appear, but without the battery, it can't work right. The clock might end up being WAY off and possibly frozen at whatever time it died, or it could just freeze when the computer is turned off.

ok...THAT looks bad. there are a few solutions to your problem:
1. only turn the computer on at 8:00 AM (:P)
2. double-click the clock and play around with the clock settings and see what happens
3. listen to bluaki's advice and buy a new battery

Yeah, definitely clock battery.
Your clock battery (if on a desktop) should be in something like this on the motherboard:

Just press on the notch thing and it will pop out.

Uh... not really. Since the battery is dead, it might as well not be there. Just... don't poke random stuff and get yourself electrocuted.
Oh yeah, don't blame me if you get a BSoD, which
could appear (I don't think it's likely at all).
