3. Look at engraved symbols or measure battery
4. Buy one that is same size

The battery looks like an oversized watch battery and can come out easily and cleanly.

hmm...well how do you know the clock battery is dead? what clues are showing you? is the clock maybe just not showing on the bottom-right corner of the screen?

it really depends on what you're seeing there...

The clock will always appear, but without the battery, it can't work right. The clock might end up being WAY off and possibly frozen at whatever time it died, or it could just freeze when the computer is turned off.

The clock will always appear, but without the battery, it can't work right. The clock might end up being WAY off and possibly frozen at whatever time it died, or it could just freeze when the computer is turned off.

Whenever I turn it on, it says it's around 8:00AM.
