I guess ( solely by seeing MARX, that you favor the AUTOCRACY, amirite)
For me I suppose it would be socialism!
Snoorkel wouldn't this be more appropriate in the Serious Discussion? ???

No, then I would have had to type paragraphs about why some form of a socialist republic is best, but I don't feel like doing that. :(

Find out? Pfft... just kill random people to be safe. :p
I am socialist, I suppose.
I just want to add something. I said socialism, and I live in a constitutional monarchy. I don't think there are many flaws with this, just ideally I think we would all want socialism. There is my little blurb!
Socialism, between Social Democracy and Democratic Socialism(which has a bit of a redundant title).
Many people don't make the distinction between Socialism and Communism, but there is a difference. While Communism is socialism, Socialism is not communism. There are 4 types of Socialism: Social Democracy, Democratic Socialism, Communism, and one more.
What many people don't realize is that Socialism isn't against America or the constitution. No where in the Constitution does it say that capitalism is required in the United States. The people believe the propaganda that Capitalism is Democracy, which is not the case. Socialism relies on Democracy to work.
IMO Socialism is the best system.
take a guess (look at my name :P)
Democratic Republic. It creates a balance of power between all branches of the gov. to stop absolute power or tyranny. This is my ideal gov. I would hate to be ruled by a dictator that would make me have to pay raised taxes and fight in the war even if I didnt want too :/
in a perfect world, where no man desires more than his neighbor, Communism is ideal.
DESPOTISM FTW
Liberal! *looks at everyone staring at me* Errrrrrrr... *lives in Canada*

I'm pretty sure we have forced conscription, in the form of the draft.
However, that's only when the goverment decides there's a need to expand the military.

Yes that is very true, I forgot about the draft. Even still, if you choose not to go and youve been drafted, then they throw you in prison for a very long time (Im pretty sure). And I wouldnt want that.

Dodging a draft would be illegal under any government.

yeah thats what I was thinking of. I would rather have us fight the war like we did in desert storm. Soon people are going to start recruiting kids to join the army and or begin drafting them when they come of age. Thats what will happen if we continue to fight the war like we did in vietnam.
I would specify my vote, but that's for the serious discussion board ;)

Big problem--we don't live in a perfect world.
The best form is a parliamentary democracy. It prevents two major parties from being able to control the legislative branch without making coalitions with smaller parties and addressing the other opinions. That's the problem with the US...too much partisan alignment. We need a strong 3rd (and 4th/5th would be nice, too) party.
Fascism and communism are both extrema, and in an unideal world they impede rights a lot more than they help them. Socialism is Communism Lite, and we've already established that this isn't a perfect world.
Anarchy is the way to go IMO

HA! Says the 5 year old... Dude you realise with Anarchy there would be no such thing as the internet?! You realize that with anarchy everyone would have to resort to farming and rasing crops to live on their own. No one would be a Movie director or video game designer because what's the point without some kind of currency?! The only kind of currency would be what you make or grow. Where would the factorys come in?!?! Once a factory is built, you have workers and then all of a sudden it's no longer anarchy.
I laugh at people with those Anarchy shirts and shoes... It's like ooooh... did you BUY THAT?!?! HA! What a contradiction. I would love to be the PRESIDENT of Anarchy Industries...
BTW I think this is a lost cause debate, there is no such thing as an ideal government, bar none... There will always be problems. Corruption will always rule the world. I feel that we already have a great CONCEPT going in America, but that's all it is, a concept. "Every generation needs a revolution" said Thomas Jefferson. It is up to the people to make this government work, without people caring enough to stand up for their rights it will always go downhill. Every year, every election we lose more and more rights, do we gain any? Not really...
With todays day and age I honeslty believe people could care less about the big picture, it's all about the big wallet and as long as they get paid and get to go home at night it's all fine and dandy. We rely on way to much anymore to make any big changes.
Somewhere between a monarchy and an anarchy.

corruption will only rule the world under a dictator. Someone who is of absolute power. With a checks and balances system or a separation of powers, that can be stopped. ;) Thats why I think Demo. Gov. is ideal

But then citizens have no control over the executive, and there really isn't a point in having an executive branch since the parliament can get rid of them at any time for any reason.
I agree there's too much partisan poop in the US, which is why you should support the libertarian/green/whatever party instead of the corrupt groups that are the Democrats and Republicans.
anyone who says that Anarchy is the way to go either doesn't know what Anarchy is, or is completely absent-minded.
Anarchy would mean:
1. No schools
2. No Television
3. No Electricity
4. No court system
5. No laws
6. No jobs
7. No food delivered to the market by people who make it (why sell the food to market if you don't get any money?).
8. No corporations (McDicks, MS).
9. No Mass Transit, no traffic lights.
In other words, you'll have to hunt and gather for your food.
Pure anarchy = no government, or anything run by the government. everyone fends for themselves.

There's no clean definition of an "anarchic government". Anarchy is just the opposition of compulsive and organized government.

but for a country to be in anarchy means that the government is either in turmoil or there is none, meaning that there would be lawlessness.
Well, technically, Socialism and Communism "work" in conjunction with any of the other governments you listed. But they only actually work in a democratic government(well, Socialism at least. Communism has almost as many problems as Capitalism)
So voting Socialism and Democratic republic would work. Socialism and Constitutional Monarchy would work(Sweden is an example).

socialist by far just look at England and all the other socialist country's.
Canada >>>> Enguland.
Yeah but England is doing a better job look at the pounds now more than 2x us much the USD and CND is only 2 pennys away from the USD...Canada is a great example of socialist country :)
our government is run by a conservative party... the polar opposite of socialist. o_O
the CND is 5 cents more than the USD.
the CND was above the USD until Trudeau spent all of our money 30 years ago.
You got to be shtting me its now bigger then the USD ? Well i need to brush up on my history when i left canada it was socialist.
Canada hasn't ever been socialist.
Ok Now what your telling me is that I lived a lie for 7 years ! I lived in Quebec does that have anything do to with anything ?
the liberals aren't socialist. they're central. the NDP are socialist.
I don't know how the Bloc fit in, though.
What ever you do just don't vote for them because they will leave there sport on the canadian gouverment and make Quebec a country of its own....If quebec becomes a country then I feal bad for all my friends :(
I don't live in Quebec... you can't vote for the Bloc unless you live in Quebec. >_>
But you can vote for evryone els all over the country this is f***ing stupid >_> its better that way thought :D And why the f*** does quebec have so much taxes ?_?
I don't think it would be right for the rest of the country to vote out Quebec just because "we don't like them", or something equally stupid like that.
Manitoba probably has worse taxes than Quebec.

Anarchy is the way to go IMO
We rely onanyone knows what people really do when they aren't watched?! You have one person taking orders from another person that is just taking orders. If you have one corrupt person it could affect millions. way to much anymore to make any big changes.
corruption will only rule the world under a dictator. Someone who is of absolute power. With a checks and balances system or a separation of powers, that can be stopped. ;) Thats why I think Demo. Gov. is ideal
Put down them rocks :O
We have more corruption than anything. What do you think our government is known for, no one knows what is really going on because we are all just taking orders from the guy that's a step above.

The United States.
Last time I checked there were millions of Americans struggling to survive on minimum wage while working at McDonalds and Wal-Mart.

True, but the big guy isnt the
only one that makes the decisions. He does have to talk with VP or Senate about what his plans are and how it should be carried out am I right? :O

Newsflash, you can reform capitalist countries - even if you don't have money flying out your wazoo, (1) there is no broad centralization of power and (2) you can change the law. Those possibilities do not exist in communist countries.
