Im being serious. Write out the equations and memorize them. Then fit numbers in liike fill in the blanks. It just simple multiplication, addition, and subtraction from there. ;)

I'm like that in every class except algebra. :-[
I try to do all the homework, and the teacher said that if we did then it would be enough to pass, but I still missed a few days of homework. D:

I have the solution to your problem, you have to catch up all the things you need to know in Algebra to stay good, and also play minus to have more time to study and when you're good in the class, you should play fine and study, also, do your homework first, and then play videogames. :)

Well, the roots are -3 & -1, due to the weird shifts, so you could solve it backwards...

I'm in Algebra II too and I have a C- :(
But I think I can solve that problem...
You have to switch the middle two terms so it says:
2x - 5x +
18x2 + 9 Then you factor each of the underlined.
So you factor out an X in the first one and a 9 in the second one.
x(2-5) + 9(2x +1)
I hope I got that right.

you can't use the factor theorem in this case, because there are no real roots to this equation
I always use the factor theorem instead of the sum and difference of cubes. I can't factor cubics right. :(

Change to 18x
2-3x+9
Factor out a 3
so it becomes 3(6x
2-x+3)
Then use quadratic formula.
(http://media.nasaexplores.com/lessons/01-003/images/quadform.gif)
You get imaginary numbers for your answers, so if its asking for those, give them, if not, there is no real answer.

k guyz how i factor this i got an answer but i dont think its rite
its easy problem
(http://img402.imageshack.us/img402/7374/algebx0.png)
oh that.
Should factor into (x2+3)(x+7)(5x+3)
uh no
i havent done this in liek 3 years srry
how do you not touch algebra ii for three years
no just factoring cubic functions
we just have our calculators do that in calculus
ti-89? lol
i'm taking ap calculus ab and bc in my junior year
Both? Must be fast-track. You don't go to SEM, do you?

No, 4x4 block.
If you pass AP Calculus AB the first semester, you go on to BC next semester.
k well i finished my homework and it only took me three hours

Yeah, they call it fast-track here. If you pass your math class that semester, you go to the next level. I believe by junior year's end you're taking Linear Algebra.
Oh, well, I'm not in the program. I'm taking AP Calculus AB this year, though.

How many problems? :-*
algebra is the easiest frickin thing in the world.
if you're ever stuck on a problem that you can't factor, here's an equation to use.
Before you use this formula, you must move all of the numbers to one side.
-b +- {sqrt of(b2-4ac}
__________________________ = x
2a
To talk you through it,
Negative B Plus or Minus the square root of (B squared subtract 4 times a times c) all divided by 2a is equal to X.
This is the quadratic formula, and you learn it in grade 11.
You get two answers, because you either add or subtract the square root of B squared minus 4AC.
in
x2+2X-4 = 0
1 = A (because there's a 1 in front of every lone X)
2 = B (because there's a 2 in front of the X)
-4 = C.
But that's only for use in dire circumstances, when you're allowed to use a calculator. It takes a long time to do, but it always gives you the right answer.
you cannot not fail algebra
