Opinions on an Animal Crossing Character

Personally, I don't overly care if they do get one or not, but if they do, I want Tom Nook for two reasons
1. All other characters are far too minor (and KK isn't an event only circumstance, so I don't think he can be in)
2. "Animal Crosser" or the generic avatar is just that, generic. Main reason I don't like the PKMN trainer itself (I love the three in one tho). Personally, I think they should've made it "Ash" because he's an actual character rather than a random no name avatar. I dunno, it's just me but I don't like blank avatars in fighting games. I know there is a rumor about him/her but w/e...

But in the games, there are no set playables. Sakurai could have named him Red, but that's not represenative of the series idea.

Gym leaders, elite four, etc. IMO much more interesting than the generic trainer. Doesn't feel like it's from the game itself to me.

Gym leaders aren't as important to the story as the generic trainer though; I think the only notable that could be playable is Blue, and that's because he's a generic Champion.

Or the generic guy from Mt. Silver in G/S/C...a.k.a. unofficial Ash. That would work wouldn't it?

Yeah, the same one. GS is the sequal to RB, which is why Blue succeeds Giovanni as Viridian Leader and Red gives up his champion status for personal training. They just gave him the default name.

But at least he's an actual character rather than the standard human avatar. I dunno, I guess I'm just OCD about this sort of thign.
