What will the NEXT Metroid game be ??

Since there's no news on Dread, and I know a lot of te Fusion mini-series, I'd rather have another Metroid Fusion.

Dread was cancelled...

I read from an issue of Nintendo Power, they were interviewing the guy who makes the prime series (or rather the team :P)

They said the prime trilogy is over, so there will be MP4, but they will continue to make games like Hunters as spinoffs.

Expect to see a Hunters 2 on wii, or a comepletely new prime spinoff game!

They would intercourse up a 2D metroid game. R&D1 needs to make it.

yeah, i really doubt it though. do they even have the frigate demo out yet?

last I heard, they actually had most of the maps made, but the engine still needed major tweaking.

While I was scanning in Prime 3, I was in the Pirate Homeworld, and when I scanned this one computer, it read something similar to "Our scientists have reported that the hopeful metroid project Dread is nearing completion". Not sure if anyone else saw that in there while scanning...

If that had any validity to it, there would have been a leak by now.

I'm pretty sure they just put that in for kicks & giggles.

I just said to expect a sequel to hunters :P The main trilogy is over...but spinoffs will still be made! ;)

If I had my choice, i would like to see a remake of super metroid in 2.5D, just like they remade original metroid when they made Zero Mission, but I seriously doubt it would ever happen.

I always thought MP3 was a prequel to hunters, but i hope the next metroid game is on the wii ;)

A remake of Metroid 2: Return of Samus. I WILL NOT REST UNTIL I SEE IT!

Or a 3D Metroid game sideways (Kinda like the new Bionic Commando.), but I don't know what storyline would fit in it. And it would be on the Wii. ;D
