What will the NEXT Metroid game be ??

Will it be DREAD?  Will it be 2.5D or 3D?  DS or Wii ?  Was that Sylux's ship chasing Samus at the end of MP3?  Will it be a continuation of Hunters? (I hope not)
If I had my choice, i would like to see a remake of super metroid in 2.5D, just like they remade original metroid when they made Zero Mission, but I seriously doubt it would ever happen.
Anyone heard anything about where the franchise is going next?

I'd rather see something new instead of a remake. Plus, if the remade it, it would probably be easier.

I would be very happy if Metroid Dread was to be made. Or at least another 2D side-scroller. I've never been a big fan of the Metroid series, and Super Metroid is the only 2D Metroid game I've played, and Super Metroid's one of the best games I've ever played, so I'd love to see another Metroid game with the same elements as Super.

Lol, I'm aware the above paragraph is a tad bit confusing. Basically, I'm not a big fan of the Metroid games, excluding Super Metroid.

I always thought MP3 was a prequel to hunters, but i hope the next metroid game is on the wii  ;)

I think it'll either be a remake of M2, something to fit in between prime 3 & M2, or something after fusion.

Eh, that shouldn't be too bad.  Many of us had to suffer through the long time between Super Metroid and Fusion/Metroid Prime.  I probably won't be one of them since I was only a year old when Super Metroid came out.  Oh, well, I got my favorite games and my life to occupy that time.  Shouldn't be too bad, right?
