Yep, it was a team battle with Squirtle and Ike on one team and two other people. Ike was winning the match by himself, then Squirtle just started running off the edge!

I have seen that kind of stuff happen before. I believe that if someone dies enough, they get a free final smash, so they try to do that so they can get a lot of ko's

Each color of DeDeDe tends to have a stronger throw of one of his accomplices/capsule. I have found that Blue, for instance, tends to pull more Waddle Doo's, while Sepia tends to get more Gordo's, per 100 throws.
