I think that there is a law in the USA saying that any car or truck that claims to be a 2010 model or later has to get at least 25 miles to the gallon.

That's possible with sports cars, but practically impossible for huge cars like Hummers and Escalades.
The new Cadillac Escalade gets 28 Gallons >:] Buts its also 30K more expensive and a Hybrid :/
Well, that's the only kind that they can make.

Just forget about Hummers, those things will never get that much.
Hummers looks gay anyway.
They weren't meant to be civilian cars anyway.

Glad I share the same opinion as someone else on NSF :)

Java

Men who buy Hummers are just trying to compensate for something else.

How is conserving oil, reducing carbon emissions, and lowering gas prices a big mistake?
Well the way the SUV's look is just cool. They need to add those oil reductions in the SUVs :/ or is that not possible?
Nobody gives a s*** if they look cool if their Hummer XXXXXL or whatever is getting 2mpg.

I do. I don't give a s*** about what the mpg is really. Also I'm not the only one who dosnt give a s***! I want big cars >:I If the car looks small and puny and its gets 30 mpg thats good, but I want a big car that just looks cool!
err

Perhaps you should rethink your priorities
He probably will change once he has to start paying for gas.....

If you want non-fuel efficient cars, get one from the late 60's/early 70's. They practically made them waste fuel on PURPOSE.
Planned Obsolecence...
you can blame 1950's home appliance manufacturers for that. The days of fuel efficiency are here at last. Maybe stupid ass Detroit will finally take notice now that Japan is kicking their sorry asses...
They have had the ability to make fuel efficient vehicles LONG before Japan started dominating American car sales. It was their fault that it took them so long to discover what the consumers wanted.
Yes the consumers want, not what the kids who want to look like they got money infront of everyone at school! I'm going to cry my eyes if the Escalade go out of production ;_;
Wait what.
You want an SUV just so you can look like you have money.
...
No words can describe my rage.

Well by sports car if you mean a porch yeah but then again I just want an Escalade cause of the urban environment that I'm around. Sports car are more expensive but whats the point I just want something that looks big and shows people I can manage money >_>. The first impression I get when I see a guy driving an escalade is young and must have a business or something. The live style that I want. Also Silver don't worry I have in my bank account the amount of 17.00$ but my mom has the money to buy me a car so its not my monies its my moms monies :3

um...in that case, you'd want a hybrid ultra-compact hatchback to show you're sensible and wouldn't spend a lot of money on a car for looks :3
