They aren't going out of business any time soon.

Make cars people want, and they'll buy American. People want fuel efficiency, yet the Big Three still is still making SUVs and GM is still making Hummers.

We had an argument in class about all the 3 making big gas drinkers and SUVS but people cant seem to afford those cars on the long. But people still want to get SUVS cause they look cool like me :/. They got 10 months left unless they get the bail out which wont guarantee anything.

No, I think.  Thank God those poop holes are going out of business. American cars suck.

The thing is, the general public isn't buying American because no one wants cars that aren't fuel-efficient. American cars never really have been fuel efficient until a few years ago because the Big 3 are JUST realizing that people want fuel efficiency.

How is conserving oil, reducing carbon emissions, and lowering gas prices a big mistake?

Well the way the SUV's look is just cool. They need to add those oil reductions in the SUVs :/ or is that not possible?

The car style is too big to be fuel efficient, unless it's a hybrid.

1. We're not running out of oil, and won't be for a while. The problem is that who actually holds the oil.
2. Carbon emissions? *yawn* Too lazy to get into my global warming argument.
3. Gas prices are going down because people aren't driving. People aren't driving because gas was 4 dollars per gallon. Once people go "hey gas is $1.89 i think ill start driving again", gas will go up to 4 dollars, and the cycle will continue in that fashion until we find an alternate fuel source.

People started driving like crazy here now cause gas went down already :/ My mom even filled like 5 of those gas containers lol.

You actually get the point for once, amazing. People are going to start doing that everywhere because gas is under 2.50 at the highest, I think, and then gas is going to go back up. It's an endless cycle until we have a true alternate fuel source.
