Pseudo "3D" visuals in gaming and film/TV

Like or don't like? (things like 3D glasses)

The 3D we have right now is not really interesting to me. When we can get real virtual reality or something, then I'm interested. But those "pop-out" effects really don't do it for me.

the moment 3D makes a narrative difference in cinema is the moment I'll consider it worth it's while.

Didn't flat 3D videogames look really ugly when they first started coming out? You have to start somewhere.

3D is bleh. They advertise things in 3D, but then it's barely used. See: the re-release of Toy Story/Toy Story 2.
