i am afraid i can only think of one thing, character: Vaati

I really don't think the Zelda franchise really needs another rep. If they take out Toon Link, then that's a pretty good line up. Better, declone Toon Link and Ganondorf. Vaati would probably fit better as an AT in his "god" form.

And Tingle would be his own franchise from the RupeeLand games, like Yoshi is from Yoshi :P

Well, I think the reason there is no downloadable content is because there is no hard drive for the Wii. Mabye if Nintendo ever makes one (:D) we'll see some downloadable stuff.
