I have to read three books over the summer, whichever I want.

I'm currently reading Slash, which you should be able to tell is Slash's biography.

That sounds extremely interesting, and I must have it ASAP >_>

However, I can lock in that "nerd" status from reading it. The book doesn't even have to have the title on it and people will think I'm reading the dictionary :P

cover cool enough to neutralize that y/n

That looks awesome, but it would more than likely make it worse :P

.:DL:.

That Pandora's Star novel sounds interesting.

I don't have to read anything during vacation, but I might consider as I sometimes have nothing to do at home. O_o

How many pages is the book?

Chaos

I think I might have to look into that book one of these days. Sounds very interesting.

I think Zovistograt said it was about 700 pages.

Hm..

that sounds good.

There's a sequel right?  800 pages?  Are there only two books?

In that story arc, yes.  They are collectively called the Commonwealth Saga.

However, there are other books that are set in the same setting.  There's a prequel called Misspent Youth that is about when the first people became effectively immortal via clinics, and he recently apparently finished one set 700 more years into the future about a vaguely-touched on and very mysterious subplot: the High Angel.

I have to read Lord of the Flies and another book I should know about, but I didn't pay attention. =P
I hate the schools making us read over summer. I've actually grown to dislike reading because of this Summer Reading. D=

I remember LotF.  I didn't pay attention for half of it, just like the Tragedy of Julius Caesar.
Julius Caesar was awesome.

I've read: 9th Pendragon, the Judas Strain, and When the Wind Blows

I am starting to get into manga. I also recently bought Earth: the Squeal. I also may pick up Just How Stupid Are We?: Facing the Truth About the American Voter.

Apparently I have to read some book and do a 13+ page report on it, but I just found out yesterday.
I'll probably just end up not doing it.
