No, I think it's anytime you flick the control stick sideways. Be it doing a Smash with the stick, starting a dash, or turning around.

It's definitely a flick of the controller that does it, which pisses me off more.

Tripping is supposed to remind you that it's not about winning but just about having fun.

Although, tripping and losing takes the fun out of it...

There is no Fun in tripping, UNLESS the matches people play are Meant to be for fun in the 1st place. The Players should make the rule.

In other words...... Like Items, tripping should be optional.

I find tripping hilarious. Mostly because of situations where it leads to your death.

In a heated fight, if he tripped, and then got KO'd FROM Tripping constantly, he'd be singing a different tune.

There is a code the disables random tripping.

The move induced tripping is necessary to Diddy play. :)
