Most places I'll usually get fries as one of them.

I'm a pasta kinda guy, so it's a soup or salad kinda thing. I'll just go with the house salad with ranch/house dressing. Not too picky about it.

French fries only at fast food joints though. I never really enjoyed curly fries or onion rings.

Salad, unless it is a sandwich, which calls for salt and vinegar chips.

And by salad, I mean lettuce with Italian dressing.

Breadsticks, french fries, and soup are common things I order as side dishes.
