He's original, that's all I can say about him. Would I have preferred another Alpha revival? Yes (hi thar Charlie). Hopefully he won't be as lame as the Zangief spammers that think they run the online rooms.

It's widely accepted that Abel is a prototype of some sort for the Seths and that Charlie had something to do with his escape, as Abel mentions throughout his story about his adopted father that was a solider. He saw Guile do a Sonic Boom and recognized it.Not sure about the exact details as I beat Arcade mode with everyone last March, but I remember what's important. Charlie might not be dead, at least not in Street Fighter IV.

Shoryuken Wiki doesn't seem to think he's dead at all. I don't, again, at least not in IV. We wouldn't have this issue if it wasn't for Capcom intercourse ing up at making a solid plot for once.

Correct. If my memory serves me correctly, only 3 people in the entire SF-verse know how to perform a Sonic Boom. Those three are Guile, Charlie, and Remy.

Guile and Remy are both impossible :)
