INSANE MODE! O_0 ._. *_* (Dies)

Oh my gosh. I beat normal (hard) Mode yesterday and now I am starting insane mode. (Mind you this is without data transfer. So, the first thing I realized was that you cannot do the little enemy range check thing and keep it on. In fact, you cannot use it at all. Now I have look at the enemy stats and the amount of spaces they can move just to tell where places are safe. (Not to mention if they have hand axes or something) I can live with the suspend data, I have played the gameboy games and I never really used the battle save feature anyway. COME ON THOUGH! The first level is nearly suicidal if you had not gotten used to how the game played before. If anyone besides a veteran TRIED to do this mode, he would go crying to his mommy about how hard it is. I have not even mentioned that the enemies have better weapons and stats yet so I will go on to that. Yeah, they do all have better stats and I know what you are thinking. It is not that hard with the bonus you get from data transfer. Well, guess what!? I can't use the cruddy data transfer because my brother will not let me delete his easy mode file. (Until he is done with normal and that could take a while...) So I feel totally screwed over just by getting to the level where you have the shop lady. She is suicidal for crying out loud. Even when I direct her to stop it is horrible because then I have to stay where they are and defend them. Has anyone else gotten to this crazy mode of doom yet? If so, do you have any advise?

Easy= JP normal(it did feel more like a normal mode then an easy mode)
normal= JP Hard O_o
Hard= JP Maniac mode X_X

At first it doesn't really matter, since the Dawn Brigade doesn't get any bonuses for it... (Except Sothe) but it is a helpful boost later on, although it's not a gigantic one.
