Sometimes one of my fellow Pre-Med clubbers sends me something cool about anatomy or physiology. Give this a shot, it was originally from a neurologist.

1) Sit down some place  that's comfortable.
2) Start making clockwise circles by rotating your right foot
3) While continuing to rotate your foot, start to draw the number six continuously with your right hand.
4) Your foot will suddenly change its direction of rotation from clockwise to counterclockwise.

Try to keep your foot rotating clockwise. You can't easily for as long as you keep drawing sixes with your hand. Infuriating, isn't it? :)

Uh... nothing happened except for my foot bumping into my bed every few seconds.

Hmm, are you rotating your foot or your entire leg?

...is it even possible to rotate my foot and not the entire leg at the same time?

Yes, unless you have your leg extended outward in front of you. :p

Flying Chickens

I can rotate clockwise again for a few seconds, just my 6's star getting really wonky.

Triforce_Luigi

Thats awesome! I found that if you focus, you can keep your foot going clockwise. But if you do not pay attention, it starts to drift counterclockwise. You don't even realize its going the wrong direction for a while.

TOM_RIDDLE

i remember doing that a few year ago. It made me mad because i felt like someone was messing with my head.

Jono2

i was able to make my foot go clockwise while drawing sixes. ;)

I did this last year at a friend's cabin, and practiced until I could do it. :P
