Take away the porn, piracy, useless web sites for companies, downloadable freeware and trials programs, chan sites like 4chan, search engines, information, computer tech support stuff from the internet, email, phishing sites, myspace and similar sites, and major file hosting servers and you're pretty much left with us.... I think.

Funny, I saw this post just after I edited mine to add "email, phishing sites, myspace and similar sites, and major file hosting servers"
major file hosting sites include YouTube, Photobucket, etc

We do not allow porn.

We are not the internet.

Excuse me, but it's one of my ideas for future inventions.  I'm planning out my life as I learn stuff at school.  And I have plenty of friends.

We count as the "true" online communities on the Internet that are populated by tech-savvy individuals who are usually not understood by non-forumgoers in relation to spending insane amounts of time posting on an Internet forum.

my friends don't understand how this is considered "fun."  And as I try to explain it, it really sounds boring explained D:  But it's not :P

One of them is actually trying to pry me off of these boards and get me to play my Wii, which I agree could use a bit more usage :D
